Williams Landing

I had the pleasure of checking out the grand opening of Williams Landing in Liberty Village last week – and man oh man, what a party. I was looking forward to enjoying their rooftop patio with my friends, a glass(s) of wine and a few nibbles from their menu. Everything was great and met my expectations except for how long we had to wait for everything – getting a drink from our server or even if we went up to the bar took soooo long – brutal.

When you go check it out make sure to order the Mongolian Pork Tacos and The Calamari served with smoked paprika aioli – awesome flavour!

If you are a tequila lover like I am you will be interested to know that they have Coffee Patron. This stuff is magical. Its like a syrupy, sweet, mocha dream and it’s tequila – amazing!

They are also carrying a new beer, Kronenbourg 1664  Blanc. I am not a huge fan of wheat beer but this one is delicious, it tastes like tropical fruits and yummy apricots.

This is a great place for drinks on the patio over looking liberty village and the rest of the city (its no Thompson Hotel view..but its nice!). They also have an amazing weekend brunch and mix up a mean Caesar. So check it out and let me know how you go – enjoy!

You liked the Caesar? I had one the first time I was there and thought it was awful. I warned friends when we went on Sunday and they ordered one also and agreed with me. Overall I felt the patio is awesome, and the food is decent. The brunch portions are quite small but the pulled pork eggs benedict was tasty. Anyway, just adding my 2 cents 😉 Nice review!
