Coast to Coast Caesar Toast

I went to the Mott’s Clamato 2011 new Caesar recipe launch this morning (yes well the invitation said 11:30am and I was officially drinking before noon on a Tuesday – loves). It was an intimate affair at The Spoke Club filled with food and drink lovers and of course Canada’s favorite beverage – The Caesar. I left wanting more sips of some of the awesome concoctions that were shared with us today. So I figured I would come home and share them with you! I know.. I’m awesome and so much fun to drink some Caesars with – start mixing!

We kicked off our buzz with the most yummy combination of flavours, it was called The Royal Caesar – you need to make this for yourself! It was my fave new recipe from Mott’s Clamato. It is a tribute to the upcoming visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge featuring the most iconic English spirits; gin and Pimm’s.

The Royal Caesar

1 oz Gin

1 oz Pimm’s

2 dashes Angostura Bitters

4 oz Mott’s Clamato Cocktail

4 cucumber sticks (skinned, 4″ long)

4 dashes Worcestershire sauce

3 dashes ground salt and pepper

Muddle cucumber, Pimm’s, gin, bitters, Worcestershire and salt and pepper together in a mixing glass. Add ice and Mott’s Clamato cocktail. Stir well and strain into fresh ice into a Champagne glass rimmed with freshly ground salt. Voila! A cool, tasty and refreshing Caesar.

Another fave of mine was The True North Caesar. To celebrate the true North strong and free this Caesar features a margarita ‘iceberg’. Yum!!

The True North Caesar

1 oz Vodka

4 oz Mr and Mrs T Margarita mix

4 oz Mott’s Clamato Extra Spicy cocktail

4 dashes Worcestershire sauce

2 dashes freshly ground salt and pepper

In a blender, combined 4 oz of Margarita Mix with 3 cups of ice. Blend until smooth. In a separate glass, mix Mott’s Clamato Extra Spicy cocktail, vodka. Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper over ice. Place an ‘iceburg’ of margarita slush in the middle of the glass and pour Clamato mixture around it.

So like I said start mixing and enjoy one of these on the patio – Cheers!
