Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Burgers

I love everything about sweet, tangy, and spicy buffalo chicken wings so I thought why not turn these flavours into a mouth watering burger. I’m sure the inspiration to make a really great burger and get creative came from watching too many episodes of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and also the Grill em All guys from the Great Food Truck Race. I love being able to share what I make with the people I love so I invited my cousin Greg over for some beers and a bbq and every bite was absolutely delicious!

Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Burgers

1 pound ground chicken

2 celery stalks finely chopped

2 green onions chopped

1 shallot finely chopped

1 tbsp of horseradish mustard

1/3 cup  of Franks Red Hot

1/3 cup bread crumbs

salt and pepper

5 tbsp of crumble blue cheese

Combine  all the ingredients together except for the blue cheese in a medium sized bowl

Divide the meat into four sections, take one of the sections and half that – flatten both halves and put a little over a tbsp of crumbled blue cheese in the middle. Put the other half on top and seal the sides and shape into a patty. Continue to do this with the other 3 sections so you will have 4 nice blue cheese stuffed burgers ready for the grill.

I served these burgers with my homemade Spiced Sweet Potato Fries

Make sure you have a fantastic refreshing beer to go with this yummy spicy, tangy, cheesy burger! Enjoy xx Cheers
